Joost has been practicing vipassana or insight meditation since 1995. He meditated in Burma and Nepal for almost three years and since 2004 he has been guiding retreats and other meditation activities. As a teacher of Buddhist philosophy of life and Vipassana, he is affiliated with the Dhamma deepening course and various mindfulness training institutes. In addition to co-founder of 30NOW he is the author of 'Back to the Market', a book about applying Buddhism in everyday life.
Mariëtte Verhoef gives individual mindfulness and self-compassion training with great passion. She also gives group training in the business world. “My life has been enriched enormously when I got to know Buddhist meditation. I learned to apply compassion and mindfulness in my daily life. Since then I am much better in touch with myself, make more conscious choices, can handle stress better and experience much more love in my life. "
