Victor Melenhorst
Victor Melenhorst studied Non-Western Philosophy and Chinese at the universities of Amsterdam and Leiden. He then spent several years in China, where he studied and worked, but above all got to know the country and its culture from the inside. His thorough knowledge of the Chinese language and culture forms an important foundation for the Taoism course he teaches.
Victor has been teaching philosophy courses at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam for many years. He is also a mindfulness trainer and a dedicated practitioner of vipassana meditation.
