Eve Myon and Marko Roshi
Eve Myonen Marko Roshi is a Zen teacher at Green River Zen Center in Massachusetts. With her husband Bernie Glassman Roshi (1939 – 2018), founder of the Zen Peacemaker Order, she started the Peacemaker Circle International, aimed at bringing together and training peacemakers in the US, Europe and the Middle East. She was a spirit holder at the Zen Peacemaker retreats in Auschwitz-Birkenau, Rwanda and the Black Hills with Lakota – elsewhere. She blogs under the name Eve Marko.
Wendy Egyoku Nakao Roshi
Wendy Egyoku Nakao Roshi served as abbot of the Zen Center of Los Angeles (ZCLA) from 1995 to 2019, where she continues to teach. ZCLA was founded by Japanese Zen master Taizan Maezumi Roshi. Wendy was ordained a Zen priest by him in 1983 and received Zen training from him until Maezumi Roshi's death in 1995. She became a dharma successor to Bernie Glassman Roshi in 1996. (and is a founding member of the Zen Peacemaker Order, which is spiritually based social activism.)
