The four Brahmaviharas ('divine abodes') are explicitly described by the Buddha to be important supports to awakening as well as powerful states in their own right.
In spite of their importance, they tend to get much less attention in the west than do various insight-based practices.
These four sessions aim to provide an introduction to these qualities of heart: what they are, what they are not, how they interrelate, and how they fit into the teaching as a whole.
Suited for both beginners and experienced meditators.
During the period of four weeks you will get access to the four theme pages. With each theme page you will dive into a new Brahmavihara. Each theme page contains a pre-recorded teaching, many supporting sutta's as study material and the possibility to share your thoughts, questions and experiences.
