At 30NOW we invite you to participate in the inspiring workshop on the Kalama Sutta.
De Kalama Sutta is very popular in the West because of one overhyped paragraph, which is sometimes called the Buddhist Charter of Free Inquiry.
If you ignore the hype and read the text in its entirety, you will find that it is one of the most accessible expositions of the Dhamma.
The message is that it can also be done in simple terms.
We will read and discuss the text together.
While the formula of the Four Noble Truths was mainly intended for the ascetics in Northern India at the time of Buddha, here we look for a formulation of the Dhamma that is immediately applicable to our lives.
Kalama Sutta is offered as an online workshop. We use Zoom Meetings, so in addition to Edel Maex, all participants are visible and can switch on their microphone. The workshop will not be recorded.
