This is what you can expect

  • Live sessions

    The Live Course MVMC offers mindfulness deepening and stress reduction in the form of meditation, education, interpersonal explorations and body-oriented practice. It is a full-fledged and broad Live Course, which rests on four pillars:

    1. Deepening and broadening of mindfulness skills.
    2. Mindful communication.
    3. Increasing body awareness.
    4. Strengthening the sedation system.

    The six meetings will cover:

    Meditation Exercises

    • Mindfulness meditation with attention to the feeling tone.
    • Calm Meditation.
    • (Self-)compassion through gentleness meditation and compassion-oriented exercises.
    • Setting an intention in line with our core values.
    • Increasing our body awareness.

    Mindful communication

    • Communicating from need.
    • Education: what happens in contact with others.
    • Deepen and broaden connections and develop open communication.
    • The skill of mindful speaking.
    • Mindful presence and listening.
    • Mindful response to conflict.

    Body-oriented exercises

    • Getting to know Yin yoga (accessible and relaxing).
    • Introduction to visualization Yoga nidra meditation.

    Education and other exercises

    • Discovering values ​​and needs in contact with others.
    • The three emotion regulation or motivational systems.
    • The functioning of our autonomic nervous system.

    The live sessions are from 19.00:21.15 PM to XNUMX:XNUMX PM on:

    During the Live sessions and via the course pages there is an opportunity to share experiences and ask questions.

  • Looking back

    You can review all components (lectures, meditations, tips, practice assignments, quotes and live sessions) during and after the course period.

    • Without a Membership you will have access to all components for 3 months after the Live Course.
    • With an (active) Membership you have unlimited access to all parts.
    • Break-out rooms are not included for privacy reasons.
  • Scientifically researched

    Scientific research has been conducted into the effectiveness of this Live Course in collaboration with the University of Groningen.

  • Course material on paper

    The (online) Live sessions of this course last approximately 2,5 hours. You may sometimes want to be able to access the course material during the live session, for example because of the writing assignments. Physical paper works very well here.
    That is why for this Live Course you will also receive the course material physically on paper in the form of a workbook.
