Dealing with Thoughts

We all have thoughts. They can be very useful, when we want to remember something, or want to explain something for example. But there are also times when thoughts just keep going. Then they are not so helpful.

In this workshop we will explore how to deal with unwholesome thoughts, both in meditation and in daily life. The Buddha gave several ways to do this.

We will take a look at a sermon in which the Buddha explains to us how to deal with unhelpful thoughts. We will practice together with the application of the tips he gives and of course there is room for questions and exchange.

With the tools that you are offered during the workshop, you can also continue to practice at home, so that thoughts no longer have to be an obstacle. Instead, we learn to deal with thoughts in a friendly and supportive way.
