Dhamma in everyday life

Metta, kind and benevolence

Metta: accepting everything you cannot change.
A benevolent and kind attitude towards ourselves and all other living beings. We all have this quality of goodwill intrinsic to us. We can naturally treat ourselves and others in a loving way, and we can develop, nurture and nurture this ability.

Meditation teachers Ank Schravendeel and Mirjam Schild discuss the dhamma (dharma) in daily life in this series. The source of inspiration is the so-called ten parami: beneficial qualities or virtues from Buddhist psychology that develop in meditation and in everyday life. They both share from their personal lives and in this way explore the parami as a source of inspiration.
