'Living with Dying' – Live Course with Irène Bakker

We can already look forward to a wonderful Live Course in 2023. Because on January 5, Irène Bakker will give 'Living with Dying' for the third time.

'Living with Dying' – January 5, 2023

Even though most people prefer not to think about their own mortality, it is inevitable that this is the case for all of us.
Together we explore questions such as:

• What really matters in my life?
• Can a lived awareness of impermanence be an invitation to live this precious, sometimes painful life to the fullest?
• How do I deal with fear of the death of myself or loved ones?
• How is death and dying viewed in Buddhism?
• How do I actually want to live 'between now…… and then'?

The course period is from January 5 to January 31, 2023. There is a weekly live online meeting. In addition, you get weekly access to recorded lectures, guided meditations, quotes and exercises. In the meantime you can also respond and share your questions and experiences.

“The Seven Factors of Awakening” – December 19, 2022

Registration for the Dhamma Study Group is still possible. From December 19, we will be exploring nine months – the seven factors of awakening (mindfulness, inquiry-of-dhammas, energy, joy, calmness, concentration, and equanimity).

There are nine monthly online live sessions with all participants. All sessions are supervised by Bianca Vermeij and Helena Pauptit. The meeting starts with an introduction to the theme of the month, which is given each time by a different speaker.

The speakers who will give the introductions are: Riët Aarsse, Arjan Schrier, Helena Pauptit, Frits Koster, Bianca Vermeij, sister Vimalanani, sr Dhammadinnā, Simin Abhravesh and Joost van den Heuvel Rijnders.
