Dhamma in everyday life
Upekkha, Equanimity
Upekkha: Attach less to the result of our wishes. An attitude of balance: not being discouraged by pleasant or unpleasant events. As equanimity grows, it also becomes easier to send our compassion, loving kindness and compassion out into the world. Equanimity ensures that we will attach less to the result of our wishes.
This is the last episode of this podcast series 'Dhamma in daily life'.
Meditation teachers Ank Schravendeel and Mirjam Schild discuss the dhamma (dharma) in daily life in this series. The source of inspiration is the so-called ten parami: beneficial qualities or virtues from Buddhist psychology that develop in meditation and in everyday life. They both share from their personal lives and in this way explore the parami as a source of inspiration.
